Jeff Haney
Jeff’s early days of hunting were in upstate NY with his new friend Mike, father Jack and their trusty lab named Tar. Mike and Jeff would sit by patiently with their Daisy BB guns while Jack and Tar did the real hunting. Those memories, being a young boy in the wilderness with his best friend, his Dad and a fine dog stuck with Jeff for many years. Still hunting, fishing and being an outdoorsman through high school and college, Jeff drifted away from the sport for a number of years until he happened upon Steve Redlin and a wonderful gift from his lovely wife in 2007. A couple of hunts with Steve and Steven Redlin later, and a nice new gun in hand, Jeff has renewed his love of pursuing waterfowl, and hopes to help other young men and women experience the same camaraderie and joys that the outdoors has to offer.
Kirk Leonardelli
Kirk’s family is his wonderful wife Marisa and their future daughter. He has been hunting waterfowl in the Central Flyway 6 years. His passion for fellowship and waterfowl is evident in his quest with the Duck Brothers in their mission to share the waterfowl experience with fellow hunters. In his opinion nothing can compare to the first time you walk out into the darkness and find that perfect spot, set your decoys, and see that first flight of ducks come in across the horizon. He looks forward to seeing you in the Marsh this winter!
Brent Noel
Brent Noel lives in Mission, KS with his wife Patty and has two grown children, daughter Kristen and son Alan. Having lived his entire life in Kansas has given him the opportunity to hunt many kinds of game, from deer and turkey to upland birds and waterfowl. While he still enjoys all types of hunting, both with firearm and archery, he also is an avid fisherman and enjoys fishing for walleye and crappie in nearly any eastern Kansas lake. Brent’s love for the outdoors began for him as a boy going camping with his family at state and federal owned parks. While attending Kansas State University and majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology he took advantage of the awesome hunting on public grounds at both Milford Reservoir and Tuttle Creek Reservoir. His passion for the sport of hunting grew to be an obsession and soon he was photographing and filming his hunts to share his experiences with friends. As a result many of his buddies took up the sport, one of which went on to have his own hunting show on the Outdoor Channel and for whom Brent filmed professionally for a time. Brent prefers the fundamental role of introducing individuals to the hunting experience. As a result his business, HPL Video strives to film ordinary families as they share hunting as a sport together. The chance to create and capture your memories from a thrilling hunt onto a DVD is a special way to preserve a memory and make it last a lifetime.
Steve Redlin
Steve Redlin was raised on a farm in north central Indiana where he hailed under the guides of his father and brothers. One brother taught him to trap and the other introduced him to the woods. Steve started his hunting career at five years old chasing pigeons and rodents around the farm with a pellet rifle before graduating to a 22, and then onto shotgun and rifle. During his high school summers, Steve worked at a state fish and wildlife area where the Assistant Property Manager introduced him to waterfowl, upland and turkey hunting. Several years later Steve and his wife moved to Kansas and were blessed with his son Steven. However even before his son was born, Steve was mentoring youths including his nephew Nick. Steve knew as Nick and Steven grew up he would have outdoor partners for life, like him, filled with a passion for the outdoors. Now as his son is past the youth hunt age Steve looks for ways to give other youth the opportunity to enjoy Gods Country.
Steven Redlin
Steven Redlin, born and raised in east central Kansas, began hunting at a young age with his father and cousin. From the moment Steven earned his hunters safety certification his father had to tie him to a tree to keep him from hunting every day. His first experience was a successful turkey hunt with his 20 gauge Remington youth 870. After a short stint in the trees, a Jake walked into view and Steven squeezed off a shot. Being young he could barely see over the brush he and his father were hiding in, and it wasn’t until his father’s reassurance that he knew he had taken the Jake. Addiction began immediately from that point for Steven that has led to an overwhelming knowledge in scouting and trapping, as well as a huge desire for all types of hunting, including his strongest; a passion for waterfowl.
